Our picks would be lake cruises to the Mine Bay Rock Carvings, exploring the remote Western Bays with Venture Beyond or mountain bike the Great Lake Trail or Great Lake Pathway with our very own Adventure Shuttles. Why not grab a Float Plane to the Tongariro volcanoes or Sky Dive over the Lake? There is also the world-renowned Tongariro Alpine Crossing and the Tongariro National Park to explore on foot.
