You will be directed to our secure server to make your booking.
All bookings will be instantly confirmed at the time of booking.
The room rate includes gourmet breakfast, welcome afternoon tea/espresso coffee, pre-dinner drink & canapes or platter, free parking & free Wi-Fi.
Check-in is between 3:00pm to 6:00pm; check-out is no later than 11:00am, unless by prior arrangement.
Tariff includes the New Zealand Goods and Services Tax of 15%
Twin room configuration is available for bookings of 2 or more nights in Ruapehu Suite.
Payment
Whakaipo Lodge is an accommodation provider located in New Zealand. All business transactions are carried out in New Zealand dollars. No deposit is required to secure your reservation but we do require your credit card at time of booking. Full amount is payable on departure. Payment by credit card will incur a 2% transaction fee to reflect bank charges incurred by Whakaipo Lodge. (Payment facilities are available for EFTPOS debit cards for NZ bank account holders or cash, whereby no transaction fee will apply. Alternatively we are happy to accept international transfers up to 30 days prior to arrival.)
Damage
The guest accepts responsibility for damage or breakages caused by them. Repairs, cleaning or replacement will be charged to the guest account. This includes de-odourising, that may be required due to smoking or vaping.
Children
We are able to accommodate children by arrangement, on an exclusive-use basis, whereby BOTH suites are booked.
Accessibility
The Lodge is accessible for guests with limited mobility, if booking the Ruapehu Suite, but is not wheelchair accessible.
Smoking
Smoking and vaping is not allowed in the lodge.
Cancellation
Cancellation within 30 days of arrival date: 25% forfeit of the total booking price.
Cancellation within 14 days of arrival date: 100% forfeit of the total booking price.
NB: We recommend that guests have comprehensive travel insurance to cover cost of guest cancellation or no show due to any event or illness curtailing itineraries. This clause is not intended to affect guest rights under New Zealand law.
