Spring/Summer Lodge Dinners

Our Lodge Dinners are very popular with our guests (see our reviews on TripAdvisor).

We select the very best seasonal produce to showcase our Lodge's, and New Zealand's, fabulous food & wine.
Canapés of the Day are served in the guest lounge, or in the Lodge's beautiful gardens,
with your choice of a fine NZ wine or a locally brewed, award-winning craft beer.
The Main Course will be ONE of the following, based on best available produce and any special dietary needs:
Bluff Salmon, hot-smoked over Manuka, with a Whisky & Brown Sugar marinade
Locally-grown Beef Eye Fillet with Cafe de Paris Butter
Perfectly grilled Hawkes' Bay Lamb Rump served with a Red Wine Jus
A Lentil & Quinoa Moussaka with a Basil & Macadamia Pesto delights our vegetarian/vegan guests.
The main course is accompanied by duck fat-roasted Agria Potatoes, with a fresh, seasonal salad or vegetable side dish from the Lodge gardens.
A NZ wine to suit the dish, or your palate, will be served.
Our homemade Desserts are a real highlight for many.

Individual Pavlova w Seasonal Fruit & Whipped Cream (GF)
Dark Chocolate Fondant w Pouring Cream
Lodge-grown Rhubarb Tarts w Orange-Scented Cream
Dark Chocolate Torte (GF/RSF/DF) served with Coconut Yoghurt
A NZ dessert wine (sticky!) will be served.
Webster's Organic Tea, Volcanic Roasters Organic Coffee or Hot Chocolate to follow with
The Lodge's delicious hand-made Chocolate Liqueur Truffles or Petit Fours to finish.
